This is one of my favorite books of all time - I have read it through twice, and I'm reading it again. It's so worn out that soon I will have to order a new one from amazon.com! Seriously, this really is a great book. It's mind-boggling to think of what it took to get all the information contained in it. The book not only gives a complete history of the life of Bill Gates but also contains most of the history of the entire computer industry. I recommend this book to anyone who has any interest in computers at all. | 
| | 3. | Losing My Viginity Richard Branson Customer Review I'm not a lover of books that are 500+ pages long so when I first received this book I was a little put off. After reading the first few pages though I was gripped and couldn't put it down. At a very early age, Branson seemed to have that drive that has stayed with him and has made him what he is. His lifestyle in the early days is not what you imagine and he has had his fair share of bad luck. The book takes you step by step through his life up until he is 40. He is a very likeable, genuine and considerate man and he seems to be into everything, literally!. If you think being dislexic might set you back, think again. I admired Branson's drive and enthusiasm before I read this book, now it's got me hooked and I want to find out more about him. A totally gripping book start to finish and this is the first book that I can honestly say that I couldn't put down. It has my recommendation and if I had the chance of working with him I'd jump at it ! Brilliant - well worth a buy. |

As well as being an insightful look into the crazy and quite frankly remarkable world of Mr Jobs, the book tells an amazing story about some of the biggest and most influential companies of the last thirty years. It also shows how, regardless of how damned talented Steve Jobs is, that luck undoubtedly played a part. The intriguing set of circumstances that led Steve back to Apple Computers Inc. after his initial fall from grace serves as a cold hard lesson in business as well as being an engaging read." |
